Install on a single computer for the first time

How to install Sage 50 Payroll Ireland on a single computer for the first time.

To help ensure a smooth installation, we recommend you complete the preparation steps before you install your software.

When you're ready to install Sage 50 Payroll Ireland on a computer that doesn't already have an installation, continue to follow this article.

Install Sage 50 Payroll Ireland

1. Select the link below to download the installer:
   • Download Sage 50 Payroll Ireland v29.2
     • If a prompt asks you to select where to save the file, select your Downloads folder, then select Save
2. Browse to your Downloads folder.
3. Right-click Sage50Payroll_IRL_v29.2.exe, then select Run as administrator.
4. To confirm you accept the licence conditions, select the licence checkbox then select Next.
5. Select This Computer, then Next.
6. Choose one of the following options:
   • Typical: To accept the default program and data folder locations, use this option
   • Custom: To change the program and data folder locations, use this option. To enter the folder details, select Browse, browse to and select the required location, then select OK
7. Select Next, then Install.
8. When the installation is complete, select Finish.

License your software

When you open Sage 50 Payroll Ireland for the first time, a prompt to enter your licence details appears.

If you choose License Later, you can continue to use Sage 50 Payroll Ireland for the next 30 days without licensing it. However, each time you open it, a prompt to license the software appears. When you're ready to license your Sage 50 Payroll Ireland software:

1. Select License Now.
2. Under Account Details, select Edit.
3. Enter your Sage account number and Sage 50 Payroll Ireland serial number, then select OK.
