Restore a backup for a single payroll

If you need to restore data for one payroll, follow these steps. You can also restore data for all payrolls.

  1. Open Sage 50 Payroll Ireland and sign in to the payroll.
  2. Go to Miscellaneous, then select Restore.
    If you can't see Restore, log in as the system administrator.
  3. Select Browse, locate your backup file, and choose OK.
  4. Select Show details.
  5. Check that the backup details are correct.
    If they aren’t, repeat steps 3 and 4.
  6. Select Restore Direct Reporting Data to include registration details and RPN or Payroll Submission logs.
     CAUTION: This replaces your current Retrieve RPN and Payroll Submission to ROS log files. 
  7. Select Restore.
  8. Select Yes to confirm that you want to overwrite the Direct Payroll Reporting Data.
  9. Select OK, then Cancel to close the window.
