- Log in to Sage Payroll as the system administrator.
- Go to Company, then select Company Setup.
- Select Add New Payroll, then complete the following:
| Payroll ID | Enter a name for your payroll. You can use a maximum of eight characters. |
| Company Name | Choose the company to which the payroll belongs. |
| Password | Enter your password into the New Password: and Confirm New Password: fields. Your password needs to: - Be between eight and 15 characters
- Include at least one letter
- Include at least one number
- Include at least one of these special characters

| Frequency | Choose the pay frequency of the payroll. For example, weekly, monthly, fortnightly, etc. |
- Select Create, then Close.
TIP: You can also set up payroll access groups and users in your company.
