Sage 50 Payroll Ireland v29.1 introduces auto-enrolment improvements, a new Home page, and updates to improve your payroll experience.

Auto-enrolment improvements

We’ve made several updates to help you manage auto-enrolment more efficiently.

• View auto-enrolment payroll notification (AEPN) details using the new AEPN Log
• Prevent incorrect auto-enrolment changes through the ETP tab

These updates give you better visibility and control over your auto-enrolment data.

New Home page

A new Home page is available when you open Sage 50 Payroll Ireland.

Use it to:

• Get access to helpful payroll guidance
• Stay up to date with key messages
• Find useful resources quickly

You can also choose to show or hide the Home page and change your default view.

Other improvements

We’ve made other updates to improve your experience.

• Increased the bank account name limit to 70 characters
• Improved support for Verification of Payee
• Improved pension calculation support for Benefit in Kind (BIK) scenarios using configurable deduction formulas
• View employer deductions in the Control Summary report
• We’ve made other updates to improve payroll flexibility, performance, and reliability
