Are you logging in using your own logon name?
If you’re using your own logon name, for example JOHN, log in as MANAGER to check the user setup

Forgotten the manager password?
Are you experiencing this error when logging in as Manager?
If you get this message when logging in as Manager, there's corruption in your data files. and you need to restore to a previous backup.
As you can't open Sage 50 Accounts, to restore to a previous backup you must reset your data:
- Check your data location. For help, refer to Where is my data kept?
- In the data location, rename the ACCDATA folder to ACCDATA_OLD.
- In the same folder, create a new folder called ACCDATA to replace the one you renamed.
- Open Sage, and select **** NO DATA FOUND **** from the select company window.
NOTE:
If you only have one company, and don't see this option, move to step 5.
- In the company set-up window, select Restore data from a backup file and follow the on-screen prompts.
Check your Demonstration Data
Log in to your Demonstration Data company as MANAGER (no password required) to see if you can log in. If you can, then the issue is specific to your company.
Check the Company File
- Browse to the company file on the computer where you use Sage 50 Accounts.
EXAMPLE:
C:\Programdata\Sage\Accounts\XXXX (where XXXX is the year of the version)
- Double-click the Company file and select to open with Notepad.
- Check this contains the correct path to your data.
- Edit if required then click File then Save.
