Enhanced reporting requirements (ERR)

From 1 January 2024, employers need to report the details of certain payments made to employees and directors, to Revenue. You can process and submit these payments to Revenue in Sage Payroll v27.0.

Budget legislation changes

The legislative changes for the 2024 tax year are included in the v27.0 update, to ensure you stay compliant when you process payroll.

CWPS year changes

From 2024, the CWPS year aligns with the tax year. Therefore, the 2023 CWPS year ends on 31 December 2023 and the 2024 CWPS year starts on Monday 1 January 2024. The new CWPS dates are included in the v27.0 update.
