Logging in to your Sage account without your 2-factor authentication device
Description

When you set up 2FA, you choose how you want to authenticate:

  • Sage Verify mobile app (recommended)
  • Authenticator app
  • SMS text
  • Phone call

If you ever don't have access to your 2FA device, you can still log in. To do this, use either your recovery key, or backup method (the recovery email address or phone number you set up).

Use your recovery key

You can authenticate using your 24-digit recovery code that you noted down when you first set up 2FA.

Use your backup method

Use your backup email address or phone number to either reset your 2FA or access a temporary recovery key to log in.
