Upload your accounts data from Sage 50 Accounts to Microsoft 365

Resolution

Uploading your data copies selected Sage 50 Accounts information to Microsoft 365. This allows Sage 50 Accounts and Microsoft 365 services to synchronise data.

Users in your Microsoft 365 organisation can access the uploaded information based on their permissions.

NOTE:

Microsoft 365 integration isn't available in Sage 50 Accounts v31 and above.

If you use Sage 50 Accounts v30.1 or below, you can connect your data to Microsoft 365 services.

Before you start

Before you upload your data:

Depending on the size of your data, the upload can take several minutes to complete. You can't use Sage 50 Accounts while the upload is in progress. Other users can continue working as normal. If you use Remote Data Access, upload the data from the main site.


Upload your data to Microsoft 365

  1. Install all available Sage 50 Accounts updates.
  2. Open Sage 50 Accounts and log in as Manager.
  3. Select the company you want to upload.
  4. Select Settings, then Company Preferences.
  5. Enter your password, then select OK.
  6. Select Microsoft 365, then Let's get started.
  7. Enter your Microsoft 365 email address, then select Next.
  8. Enter your Microsoft 365 password, then select Sign in.
  9. If prompted, select Consent on behalf of your organisation, then select Accept.
  10. Select Upload Now, then OK.
You've now uploaded your Sage 50 Accounts data to Microsoft 365.
