| Description | To help you analyse your payroll data, Sage Payroll has a wide range of reports available for you to choose from. |
Resolution | To access the Payroll Reports window click Reports then Payroll Reports. You can then open the relevant tab of the type of report you need:

Control Summary | Provides an overview of the current payroll run for control and auditing purposes. This report should be printed and checked after each payroll run. To check the accuracy of the payroll, you should run this report immediately after you save your employee's time and pay information. The cumulative-control-totals-brought-forward figures should match the previous period's carried-forward values. The report includes a reminder to make this check. Calculation exceptions are included in the report with a corresponding value. |

Gross to Nett | Provides a summary of the payslip details for one or more employees in this payroll. It can cover either: - The current pay period only.
- A range of pay periods and tax years.

Payments | Prints a report on the value of specific employee payments in the current period, as well as this-year balances. The report can be printed after you save time and pay information in the current period. |

Deductions | Prints a report on the value of specific voluntary employee deductions in the current period, as well as this-year balances. This report can be printed after you save time and pay information in the current period. The report includes the employer's contribution for the period and the this-year balance. |

Construction Pension | Prints a report providing details of the payroll's Construction workers pensions. |

P30/CC124 | This report is no longer valid. In Sage Payroll v22.3, it has been replaced by a new Employer Monthly Liability report that covers all payrolls belonging to the same tax registration company. |

ASC30 | A report produced monthly that provides the total Additional Superannuation Contribution (ASC) taken from the payroll, and the number of relevant persons from whom it was deducted for that employment, office or position during a particular month. |

Cash Dissection | Provides a coinage analysis for cash-paid employees. Run this report after you save time and pay information. Please note, you can specify the highest denomination permissible in the Company Details window (50 or 20 only). |

Company Audit | Provides a report of changes made to records that may affect payroll calculation. The report includes all mandatory fields. It is available for the number of periods specified in the Audit Retention field in the Company Details window. |

Cost Analysis | - Reports on payroll costs by department and cost centre. Run the End of Period function first to include the current period figures.
- The report represents the total cost of the employee / cost centre, not just for the hours worked, but also for all payments and all employer contributions including PRSI.

Departmental Time Analysis | - Reports on all 'hours' payments as defined in the pay table for the current period only.
Run this report after having completed the End of Period. At the extreme right of the report is a column titled 'Cost', which displays the total cost value per employee. |

SEPA Readiness | Reports on whether the payroll and its employees have the BIC and IBAN codes necessary for the switch-over to SEPA banking. |

Cost per Employee | Provides a breakdown of the cost of pay, employer PRSI and employer pension contributions for each employee, based on time and pay values. One section of the report shows values for the current pay period. The other section shows values for the financial year to date. Where relevant, employees are listed on the basis of employee department and cost code. |

Gross to nett | The Gross to Nett report provides a summary of employee payslip details. It can cover: - The current pay period in the current payroll.
- A range of pay periods in the current payroll. The range can encompass multiple tax years.
- A range of pay periods in payrolls belonging to this company. The range can encompass multiple tax years.
And it can cover a range of employees or all employees. |

Payslips | Depending on the selection you make in the List box, you can print or e-mail payslips for each employee processed during the current period. This should be run after you save all the time and pay information for the current period. You need special stationery for payslips. You can display a preview of employee payslips by clicking Payslip in the Time and Pay window. If you want to exclude payslips from printing that will be e-mailed to employees anyway, select the Exclude employees who get e-mail payslips check box. |

Record Cards | Provides a hard copy of the employee's master record. An employee record card can be produced at any time but, to include the current period's figures, it should be printed after the End of Period option is processed. This requires pre-printed stationery. |

Earnings Tax & PRSI | Provides a breakdown of the gross pay, tax paid and PRSI payments for each employee per pay period during the current year. If you want the current pay period's figures included, run this report after completing the End of Period function. The report includes universal social charge (USC) amounts where appropriate. |

Employee Audit | Shows the changes made to the employee details. The report includes fields that have been altered in a way that affects an employee's pay. Such information includes tax and PRSI codes, gross pay, tax paid and all mandatory fields. This is available for the number of periods specified in the Audit Retention field in the Company Details window. |

ASC45 | This report contains the employee's Additional Superannuation Contribution (ASC) amount from previous employments in the relevant year. It also contains the total ASC amount for the employee in the current year. |

Labels | Prints employee names and addresses on label stationery. This can be printed with the employee code to the right of the name and address. Label stationery will be required for this report. |

SSP/Absence | Provides details of absences and Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) recorded on the Holidays/Absence tab of the Time and Pay window. If you want to include absence records for the current period, run this report after completing the End of Period function. |

Holidays | This report provides holiday details relating to one or more employees, including accrual method, number of holidays brought forward, entitlement, number of days taken, adjustment value, and number of days due. If the accrual method is One Third of a Week Per Calendar Month, you can specify whether the holiday values should be expressed in terms of hours, days, or both. |

Public Holidays | Provides details of employee entitlement to a particular public holiday. Read more about the Public Holidays report |

Time and Pay Forms | Prints a data entry sheet that can be used to complete time and pay for hourly-paid employees. Optionally, by selecting the Fixed checkbox, you can include fixed payments on the report. |

Time and Pay Audit | Prints a hard copy of the data entered on the time and pay for this reason, it should be generated after completing the current period's time and pay. You can optionally include fixed payments by selecting the Fixed check box against this report. |

Employee Details | Prints a hard copy of the data entered in the Employee Details window. The report includes universal social charge (USC) amounts where appropriate. |

JLC Report | This report shows JLC-related information. There are four optional sections in the report: - Part 1 - Employees with incomplete JLC information

- Part 3 - Employees compliant with JLC

Cheques | Prints cheques for employees paid by cheque in the current period. You will need cheque stationery for this report. The layout of cheques can be controlled using the Cheque formatter. After printing the cheques, the Cheque Numbers window displays. Here you can record the cheque numbers used for the current batch of cheques. A Batch Register can then be printed. This lists employees included in the current cheque run, and the cheque numbers assigned to them. |

Cheque Register | Lists all employees paid by cheque this pay period and cheque values. You can use the Cheque Formatter feature to assign the corresponding cheque numbers and print these on the report. |

Bank Transfer Report | Prints a list of employees paid by bank transfer in the current pay period. For each employee, the report shows the:

- department
- cost centre
- name
- bank sort code
- bank account code

CSO Earnings Hours & Cost Survey (EHECS) | Prints a quarterly breakdown of payroll data for the Central Statistics Office, including: - Number of persons employed

- Cost of benefits
- Total subsidies and refunds received

CSO NES (Part D) | The Central Statistics Office's annual National Employment Survey (NES) Part D report is compiles statistical employment information from businesses of more than three employees. If your business has been selected to participate in the survey, you must return the NES report to the CSO at the end of the calendar year. |

Employer Monthly Liability | To report on the totals for Tax (PAYE), Universal Social Charge (USC) and social insurance (PRSI) on a monthly or quarterly basis, you need to use the Employer Monthly Liability report. The Employer Monthly Liability report replaces the P30/CC124 report, it's very similar however, there are some differences: The report includes values based on the Pay Date in the Earnings, Tax & PRSI (ETP) of each employee record. This is to makes reconciling your submissions (PSRs) to Revenue easier.
