Update the Construction Workers Pension Scheme rates effective from 3 August 2026

Download and add the latest Construction Workers Pension Scheme (CWPS) rates to Sage 50 Payroll Ireland.

 Download and add the CWPS rates

1. Back up your payroll data.
2. Go to Help, then select System Information.
3. Select Data Directory.
4. Download the CWPS rate changes file.
5. If prompted, save the file and make a note of the file name.
6. Locate the downloaded ZIP file.
7. Right-click the ZIP file, then select Extract All.
8. Choose where you want to extract the files, then select Extract.
9. Open the extracted folder.
10. Select CWPSCONT.DBF and CWPSCONT.CDX.
11. Right-click the selected files, then select Copy.
12. Return to the Data Directory you opened earlier.
13. Right-click inside the folder, then select Paste.

Check the new rates

1. Open Sage 50 Payroll Ireland.
2. Select Company/Payroll, then Construction Workers Pension.
3. Open the Rates tab, then check that the new CWPS rates appear.
