Edit a sales quick entry

Summary

How to edit an unpaid sales quick entry in Sage Accounting, and check the conditions that allow it.

Description

You can only edit a sales quick entry when it's:

  • Free of allocations
  • Not paid
  • Not on a VAT Return

If the quick entry doesn't meet these conditions, you can't edit it. Read fix a greyed out sales quick entry for more information.

Resolution

  1. Go to Sales, then select Quick entries.
  2. Select the transaction you want to change.
  3. Edit the information.
  4. Select Save.
