Description

When you try to open Sage Payroll after installing a software update, the following message can appear:

'The following shared components are missing: -
- Sage.IE.SageHibernia.Payroll.Common.dll
- Sage.IE.SageHibernia.Payroll.Common.JLC.dll
- Sage.IE.SageHibernia.Services.Logger.dll'

Resolution

To resolve this issue, you must complete the following steps:

  1. To close the message, click Cancel.
  2. Temporally disable your anti-virus and firewall settings. For assistance with this, please contact your local IT support.
  3. Download and install the latest version of Sage Payroll.
  4. Ensure all Windows updates are installed.
  5. Reactivate your anti-virus and firewall settings. For help with this, please contact your local IT support.
  6. Open Sage Payroll and log into a payroll as normal.
