Delete a company

Delete a company from Sage 50 Payroll Ireland.

Before following any of the steps below, we recommend that you backup your data.

1. Log in to the software as the system administrator.
2. On the menu bar, select Company, then Company Setup.
   Before you can delete a company, reassign any associated payrolls to a different company. If the company doesn't contain any payrolls, skip to step 7.
3. Select a payroll that's currently assigned to the company you want to delete, then select Reassign Payroll.
4. Select the Reassign to Company arrow, then Demo Company - Not for Resale.
5. Select Reassign.
6. Repeat steps 3 to 5 until there are no payrolls associated to the company you want to delete.
7. Select the company, then Delete Company.
8. When prompted, select Yes, then select Close.
