Before you install Follow our prepare to install Sage 50 Accounts article.
Download and install the update where your data is held Install Sage 50 Accounts at the computer where your data is kept. Once complete, you can upgrade Sage 50 Accounts on connected computers if you have multiple installations.  NOTE: If using Remote Data Access (RDA), install the software on the computer that uploaded the data first.
Do I install the data service or the full software? Depending on your data location, you can choose to download and install either the full software or just the Data Service.
▼ Install the full software Install the full program on the computer where you plan to use Sage 50 Accounts. The full program includes the data service.
Close all Sage software, then click the download link: - Download v31.1 download 64-bit to download to your computer.
- To begin the installation, locate and double-click the downloaded file.
To view your Downloads folder, press Ctrl + J on your keyboard when you have your web browser open. - Click Install update.
- If you’re prompted to allow the application to change your device, click Yes or Allow.
- Once the installation is complete, click Launch Sage 50 Accounts, and open your company to upgrade the data.
You can now follow the install on each computer section if you have multiple computers that use Sage 50 Accounts.
Install on each computer Once you've installed on the computer that holds your data, download and install on your other computers.
