• Ensure the product has no stock. If it does, sell the stock on a sales invoice or post an adjustment to reduce it to zero 
• Remove associated transactions by backing up your data and running clear audit trail. This permanently deletes all completed transactions up to a chosen date
• Check if a product links to any bill of materials, by running the Product Explosion report

To delete a record

1. Open the Products and Services and select the records you want to delete.
2. Click Delete then, to confirm deletion, click Yes.

After deleting records, we recommend that you take a backup and compress your data.
