Which payments should I include in the Gender Pay Gap reporting files?
Description

When you work through the Gender Pay Gap Wizard to create your reporting files, you must choose the payments you need to include in these file.

Let's take a look at how to do this.

Select your payments

Once you've selected the payment categories, you can select the payments for each of the categories you've selected, in the following order:

Ordinary Pay

Ordinary pay includes any monetary payment, such as:

Basic pay or normal salary
Overtime
Allowances, such as location allowances, retention incentives or payments for extra responsibilities
Pay for leave
Pay for piecework
Shift pay premium
Salary Sacrifice (negative) payments

It doesn't include:

Redundancy Pay reated to termination of employment
Repayments of authorised expenses
Benefits in kind
Interest free loans

Bonus

Bonus includes any additional monetary payments that don't appear as part of the employee's ordinary.

Benefit In Kind (BIK)

Benefit in kind (BIK) include payments set up using the Benefit In Kind (BIK) type.

TIP: If you want to include all of the payments for that category, select the Select All checkbox. 

If you selected more than payment category, repeat this for all of the payments in each of the categories you selected. 

You can now continue through the Gender Pay Gap Wizard to create your reporting files.
