Move Exchange Online mailboxes to on-premiseBefore you can update your Sage 50 Accounts email settings, you need to move your mailboxes to on-premise. To do this, you can follow guidance within Microsoft Documentation. Open move mailboxes between on-premises and Exchange Online. To do this, we'd recommend you refer to your local IT Support.
Updating your email settings within your softwareTake a backup of your layouts, then apply the email settings: - In Sage 50 Accounts, click Settings, then click Email Defaults.
- In the Email Program drop-down, click Microsoft Office Outlook.
As an alternative to moving to on-premise and emailing from your software, you can export layouts to PDF and attach them to your emails within Microsoft 365 or Online. - Sage 50 Payroll >
Move Exchange Online mailboxes to on-premiseBefore you can update your Sage 50 Payroll email settings, you need to move your mailboxes to on-premise. Updating your email settings within your software- Locate and select the document you want to email, then click Email.
- If a Criteria window appears, enter any relevant criteria, then click OK.
If you've configured your email settings in the previous section, the document is sent to your email Inbox or Drafts folder. If you've not configured your email settings, proceed to the next step.
- When prompted to send the document as an attachment, click Yes.
- In the Provider drop-down select Microsoft Outlook.
- In the Format drop-down, select the required document format.
- Click OK.
