Quote statuses available
Quotes can have one of the following statuses:
Open | This is the default status and can be changed to Won, Lost or Expired. |
Won | When a customer accepts a quote, you can change the status to Won. You can't change the status of a Won quote. |
Lost | If a customer doesn't accept the quote, you can change the status to Lost. If required, you can change a Lost quote to Open. |
Expired | When the expiry date of a quote passes, the status automatically changes to Expired. To change the status of an expired quote, open the quote and change the Expiry date. |
Any quotes that you enter appear in the Quotations window. The quotes also appear in either the Invoicing window or the Sales Order Processing window, depending on the type of quote created. The Type column displays different text in the different windows dependant upon the status of the quote:
