Move to the Remote Data Access main site To check if you're at the main site: - On the menu bar, go to Help then About.
- Under Remote Data Access Information, check the Site value.

If it isn’t, download and install the version of Sage 50 Accounts mentioned in the message. Convert your data at the main site Once the main site is using the same version in the message, ensure you convert the data to that version. Company data doesn’t convert until you open the company on that version. Log in to your company and convert the data when prompted, if the data is an older version. At the main site for the company you're trying to access, open the company and select Yes to convert your data. NOTE: If you're at the main site and see a message to update data, reset Remote Data Access. This is even if your software and data are the same version.
Open your company at the remote site Once you've converted your data at your main site, you can now open the company at the remote site. If the main site and the data match the version in the message, and the error continues at the remote site, disconnect the remote site. You can then connect the remote site computer to RDA.
