Move to the Remote Data Access main siteTo check if you're at the main site: - On the menu bar click Help then click About.
- Under Remote Data Access Information, check the Site value.

Install Sage 50 Accounts at the main siteAt the main site, make sure it is the version mentioned in the message. If it is not, download and install the version of Sage 50 Accounts mentioned in the message.
Convert your data at the main siteOnce the main site is definitely on the same version mentioned in the message, you need to make sure the data is converted to that version too. Company data does not convert until it has been opened on that version. Log in to your company and you will be prompted to convert the data if the data is an older version At the main site, for the company you're trying to access, open the company and select Yes to convert your data. NOTE: If you're working at the main site and the data and software have the same version number but you encounter a message to advice your data must be updated at the main site, you should follow the steps to reset Remote Data Access >
Open your company at the remote siteOnce the data is converted at your main site, you should now be able to open the company at the remote site. If the main site and the company data at the main site is definitely the version mentioned in the message, and the error persists at the remote site, disconnect the remote site from Remote Data Access and reconnect.
