Occasionally you may need to check the version number of your Sage 50 Accounts software, for example when you're upgrading or installing the software on a new computer. 

If you can access the software

1. Click Help and click About.
2. Under Program Details in the left column, note the Version Number.
   
   

   

If you can't access the software

1. On your keyboard, press the Windows key  + R, enter appwiz.cpl then press Enter.
2. Look for the latest version of Sage Accounts on the list, then, in the Version column, note the version, in this example 27.2.662.0.
   
   

   

Install any required updates
