Create a product credit note for a customer
Description

If you sell products rather than services, in Sage 50 Accounts you can raise product credit notes to print and send to your customers. When you post the credit to the ledgers, it also updates your stock levels.

Cause
Resolution
  1. Click Invoices and credits then click New credit.
  2. In the Format drop-down click Product then in Date enter the credit note date.
  3. Under Product Code click the drop-down and select the required product.
  4. In A/C enter the Customer Account Reference.
  5. To edit the item details, such as department or discount, click the Finder button.
  6. If required, complete the Order, Footer and Payment tabs.
  7. Click Save.

Once created, you can print your credit note and update ledgers so the values appear in your customer and nominal accounts.
