You can save time and money by emailing payslips and reports to your employees. You can also password-protect emails for extra security. The email feature only works with the 32-bit desktop version of Microsoft Outlook. It doesn’t support SMTP or web-based email, for example, Gmail or Yahoo. - Go to Company/Payroll, then select Company Details.
- Open the Email tab.
- Select the Use Email Feature check box.
- Complete the optional fields as required:
- Show Message Before Sending Payslip: Preview or personalise each payslip email before sending
- Request Read Receipt: Receive a notification when an employee opens their email
- PDF Password: Enter a password to open emailed or PDF payslips without using the employee’s PIN
NOTE: This password only prevents unauthorised viewing. It doesn’t stop someone from editing the PDF if they have PDF editing software. - Select OK.
