This message appears when the information in the specified field is not correct. For example, if a letter appears in a numeric field. It can also appear if a line break has been entered in Excel.

To fix this error, edit the import file to correct the specified field.

Common reasons why you might get this error:

Hidden line breaks If a hidden line break has been entered in excel, sometimes it is hard to spot. For information about how to replace any hidden line breaks, Read more >
Exchange rate set to zero This error occurs when 0 is entered in the exchange rate field. For base currency transactions, you must enter 1 for the exchange rate.
Negative values You can't import negative value transactions, but you can enter these manually.
