It can be difficult to find hidden line breaks manually in an import file. To quickly replace all line breaks with a space:

1. Open the import file in Microsoft Excel. If the file is currently a CSV file, you must open it as a Excel worksheet (*.xls, *xlsx)
2. Hold down Ctrl and press A.
3. Then hold down Ctrl and press H, click into the Find what box then hold down Ctrl and press J.

   Tip: The Find what box looks empty, but you should see a small dot.

4. Click into the Replace with box and press the space bar then click Replace All and click OK.

Once complete, save your import file and try to import again. If the import still fails, please refer to the relevant error message in the file import errors article.
