You can add short messages to payslips, such as Merry Christmas or Happy New Year. Add notes for one employee or all employees at the same time. Add a note for one employee - Go to Processing, then select Employee Details.
- Next to Surname, select Browse, then choose the employee.
- Select Notepad, then New.
- Complete the fields:
- Date of this note: defaults to today’s date
- Summary of note: enter a short title
- Display a reminder: clear this box
- Display payslip message: select this box, then type your note, up to 55 characters
- From period: enter when the note starts, format: MM/YYYY
- and for the next… periods: enter how many periods to keep it active
- Select Save.
Add a note for all employees - Go to Company/Payroll, then select Notepad.
- Select New, then complete the same fields as above.
- Select Save, then Close.
