Check your network drive

On the computer where you've installed Sage 50 Payroll Ireland:

1. Open Sage 50 Payroll Ireland and log in.
2. Go to Help, then select System Information.
3. Under Data Directory, note the mapped drive letter or path.
4. Close Sage 50 Payroll Ireland.

Find the UNC path

1. Hold down the Windows key, then press R.
2. Type cmd, then press Enter.
3. In the command prompt, type net use, then press Enter.
4. Find the drive letter from step 3 and note the UNC path in the Remote column.
5. Close the command prompt.

Copy the program folder

1. If you need to install a previous version before updating:
2. On the original computer, connect an external device (for example, a USB key).
3. Open Sage 50 Payroll Ireland and log in.
4. Go to Help, then select System Information.
5. Under Program Directory, note the path.
6. Close Sage 50 Payroll Ireland.
7. Browse to the location noted in step 5.
8. Right-click the program folder, then select Copy.
9. Paste it to the external device.
10. Disconnect the device and connect it to the new computer.
11. Paste the folder to C:\Program Files (x86).

Map the network drive

Map the UNC path you noted earlier using the same drive letter from the Find the UNC path section.

 NOTE: Use the same drive letter as before.

Install the latest update
