When you log in to Sage 50 Payroll Ireland, the Home page opens by default.

The Home page provides quick access to useful information, including software updates and support resources.

Open payroll features

To continue processing payroll, open one of the main options in the navigation bar:

  • Pay Run
  • Company / Payroll
  • Employee
  • Direct Payroll Reporting
  • Online Services
  • Financial Year End

Close the Home page

To close the Home page, select X in the top-right corner of the screen. You can open the Home page again at any time.

To do this, open the Home tab in the bottom-left corner of the software.

Change the default start screen

You can choose which screen opens when you log in. The steps below allow you to set a different option to open when you log into your software.

We recommend that you keep the Home page has your default view, to stay up to date with the latest information regarding your software.

  1. Go to Miscellaneous, then select Home Launch Settings.
  2. Clear Show 'Home' when I log in to this payroll to disable the home page.
  3. Select OK.

NOTE:

Home page settings apply per user and per payroll. We recommend keeping the Home page enabled as it provides useful information to help keep you updated.
