Summary
See the user limits for each Sage Accounting plan and what to do if you reach yours, so you can add users without errors.
Description
Your subscription plan sets the total number of users you can have across your suite.
Your user limit applies at the suite level, not per product. This means your user count is cumulative across all products.
For example, if your tier has a three-user limit:
You can have up to three users, regardless of whether they have access to one or multiple products (such as Accounting, Payroll, or both).
If you reach the user limit, you have the following options:
- Remove access for a user who no longer needs access
- Edit access to share responsibilities
- Upgrade your plan to increase the limit
Read how to Add users and Delete users.
User limits by tier
| Tier | Maximum number of users |
|---|---|
| Start | One user |
| Standard | Three users |
| Plus | Unlimited users |
These limits help you control access as your business grows.
