Information on the criteria to meet to retrieve Sage HR employee updates in Sage 50 Payroll Ireland.
To retrieve Sage HR employee updates, your payroll program must meet certain criteria:
- You must log in to a Sage Account
- You must register for online payslips
- Your payroll status must read Start of Period (SOP) or Time and Pay Calculated (CALC)
When payroll doesn't meet the criteria, the following warnings can appear:

To access Online Services, including the Retrieve Sage HR Employee Updates option, you need to log in to a Sage account.
This payroll must be registered for online payslips
To start using the Online Services options, you need to register for Online Payslips.
Your payroll status must read Start of Period (SOP) or Time and Pay Calculated (CALC)
- Log in to Sage 50 Payroll Ireland, check the status in the bottom right-hand corner.
- This must be Status is SOP or Status is CALC
- Process your payroll to update the status.
