This guide explains the introduction of the EWSS-PHR scheme from 1 February 2022 for businesses directly affected by the Public Health Restrictions (PHR), which is used in Sage Payroll.

 NOTE: All payroll related Covid-19 subsidy schemes have now ended, with the last of them, the extended scheme EWSS-PHR, ending on the 31 May 2022.

For February 2022, the following are the relevant subsidy rates for employees in the impacted sectors:
