If your payslips are blank when you export them to PDF in Sage 50 Payroll Ireland, follow these steps to fix the issue.
Why this happens
Blank payslips usually mean one of two things:
- Windows permissions are blocking the folder where you’re saving the PDF
- You need to reinstall or update the Sage PDF Driver
Install Windows updates and restart
- Close all software, including Sage 50 Payroll Ireland.
- Press Windows key + R.
- Type wuapp, then select OK.
- Select Check online for updates from Microsoft Update.
- Follow the instructions to install any updates.
- TIP: If you’re not sure about installing updates, contact your local IT support.
- Restart your computer and log in as a Windows administrator.
- Repeat steps 2 to 5 until there are no more updates.
Reinstall the Sage PDF Driver
- Open Sage 50 Payroll Ireland and log in to a payroll.
- Go to Help, then select System Information.
- Select the Program Directory link.
- Open the PDF folder.
- Double-click Install.exe, then select OK.
Check the Sage PDF Printer port
- Press Windows key + R.
- Type control printers, then select OK.
- Right-click Sage PDF Printer 5.50, then select Printer Properties.
- Select the Ports tab.
- Make sure the NUL checkbox is selected.
- If it’s not, select it now and select Apply
- Select OK to close the properties window.
