How to update your Sage 50 Accounts licence after upgrading

When you upgrade Sage 50 Accounts, for example, to increase your users or companies, you need to enter your new details into your software.

TIP: If you need to check your serial number or activation key, you can do this by logging into your My Sage account. 

1. Log into Sage 50 Accounts.
2. Click Tools, then click Activation, then click Upgrade program.
   
   If you're prompted to close open windows, save your information, then click Yes.
   
   
3. Enter your Serial Number, new Activation Key and if required Account Number. See the screenshot below:
   
   
   
   
4. Click OK.

TIP: If after entering a new activation key the software still appears as the original licence, you may just need to refresh the licence. To do this, Log in, then click Tools, click Activation and finally click Refresh Licence.
