Install Sage Payroll on a network

Summary

How to download and install the latest version of Sage Payroll on a network.

Resolution

  1. Close Sage Payroll and all other software.
  2. Download Sage Payroll update
  3. Check if you're a Windows administrator.
  4. Double-click the downloaded file - SagePayroll_V27.1.exe
  5. Select the I accept the terms of the licence check box, then click Next.
  6. Select Server, then click Next.
  7. Check the data folder is correct.

    If not, click Browse, enter the correct directory, then click OK.

  8. Click Next then click Install and Finish.
  9. Double-click the Sage_Payroll_V27.1.exe downloaded file again.
  10. Select the I accept the terms of the licence check box, then click Next.
  11. Select Client, then click Next.
  12. Select Custom, then click Next.
  13. Check the program and data directories are correct.

    If not, click Browse, enter the correct directories, then click OK.

  14. Click Next, then select the Add shortcuts to my desktop check box.
  15. Click Install, then click Finish.
  16. Repeat steps 9 to 16 on each computer on your network.
