Deduction not showing on Time and Pay

Summary

If you assign a deduction to an employee via Employee Details and then go into Time and Pay and the deduction does not appear, it can be because the employee already had a timesheet saved before the deduction was assigned. Thsi article explains how to resolve this in Sage Payroll.

Resolution

To resolve you need to delete the timesheet from Time and Pay then re-open and re-enter the timesheet:

  1. Click Enter Time and Pay.
  2. Select Random, and click Continue.
  3. Browse to the employee.
  4. Make a note of their payments /  deductions, and then click Delete.
  5. Close and re-open Enter Time and Pay.
  6. Select Random again and click Continue.
  7. Browse to the employee.

The deduction should now show in the deductions table.
