Reinstall the Sage PDF Printer

Reinstall the Sage PDF Printer in Sage 50 Payroll Ireland.

Sage 50 Payroll Ireland installs the Sage PDF Printer automatically. Reinstall the printer if reports don’t save as PDFs or payslip emails fail.

Reinstall the Sage PDF Printer

1. Open Sage 50 Payroll Ireland, then log in to a payroll.
2. Go to Help, then System Information.
3. Select the Program Directory link, then open the PDF folder.
4. Double-click Install.exe, then follow the on-screen prompts.
5. Select OK when the installation completes.

Make sure you select Install.exe. If file extensions don’t show, select the file with the type Application.

Check the printer uses the NUL port

1. Open Run, then type control printers.
2. Select OK, then right-click Sage PDF Printer 5.50.
3. Select Printer Properties, then select the Ports tab.
4. Select NUL, then select Apply.
5. Select OK to close the window.
