This guide explains how to import your employee timesheets into Sage Payroll.

Description

If you have a licence for Sage Payroll Professional, you can import hours and values into your employees' timesheets using a correctly structured CSV file. This can be a very useful feature, if you prefer to record payroll values in Microsoft Excel or use a time and attendance software.

Resolution

Import Timesheets

  1. On the menu bar, click Processing then click Time and Pay.
  2. Under Entry mode, select Import.
  3. Next to the File Location box, click browse .
  4. Browse to and select the CSV file, then click Continue.
  5. To print a list of the timesheet data you want to import, click Print Detailed View.
  6. To import and save the timesheet values, click Save Time and Pay then click OK.
