Install the 64-bit ODBC driver

If you're using Sage 50 Accounts with 64-bit Microsoft Office and need to connect to Excel via ODBC, install the 64-bit ODBC driver. This includes download links for both 64-bit and 32-bit versions.

 NOTE: Excel Integrated Reporting is not supported with MS Excel 2016 64-bit.

1. Restart your computer and log on as an administrator.
2. Right-click the relevant download link:
   • Sage 50 Accounts v31 64bit ODBC Installer
   • Sage 50 Accounts v30 64bit ODBC Installer
   • Sage 50 Accounts v29 64bit ODBC Installer
   • Sage 50 Accounts v28 64bit ODBC Installer
   • Sage 50 Accounts v27 64bit ODBC Installer
   • Sage 50 Accounts v26 64bit ODBC Installer
3. Browse to where you want to save the download, for example, the Windows desktop, then click Save.
4. Click Save link as or Save target as, then make a note of the file name.
5. Locate the downloaded file.
6. Sage 50 Accounts v28 only - Right-click Sage50Accountsv28_ODBC64Bit.zip, click Extract All, click Extract, then double-click 64Bit.
7. Double-click the Sage50Accounts_ODBC_x64.msi file.
8. If a Security Warning window appears, to proceed with the installation, click Run.
9. Select the I accept the terms in the License Agreement check box, then click Install.
10. Click Finish, then restart your computer.

 NOTE: There are also downloads available for the 32 Bit ODBC installers for v26, v27, v28, v29, v30 and v31.
