Unable to see network drives during installation

Sage 50 Payroll Ireland needs access to your mapped drives. Turn off UAC to make them visible during installation.

When you install Sage 50 Payroll Ireland on a client computer, you choose the data location on your server. If Windows blocks your access, the installer only shows local drives. Turning off UAC lets you see your mapped drives during installation.

Windows 11

1. Close all software.
2. Open Start, then type UAC.
3. Select Change user account control settings.
4. Drag the slider to Never notify.
5. Select OK, then restart your computer.

Windows 10

1. Close all software.
2. Press the Windows key + X.
3. Select Control panel, then User accounts.
4. Select User accounts, then Change user account control settings.
5. Note the current setting.
6. Drag the slider to Never notify, then select Yes.
7. Restart your computer.
