As an employer, you can purchase bikes and accessories tax free for your employees. Then over an agreed time frame, deduct the net cost from their wages.
This benefit means your employees receive the full benefit of tax, universal social charge (USC), and social insurance (PRSI) relief on these amounts. Your company also pays less employer PRSI on these amounts.

You've now assigned a bike to work deduction to this employee. In each subsequent pay period, when you process the employee's pay details, the deduction balance gradually reduces. When it reaches zero, the deduction stops automatically.
