MTD for VAT Adaptor Licence migrations Sage 200 We previously contacted you about the migration of all Sage 200 Making Tax Digital (MTD) Adaptor licences. You can read these communications using the links below: Our first phase focuses on changing the Sage MTD for VAT Adaptor and how we license it for Sage 200. What you need to do Make sure your customers upgrade the Sage MTD for VAT Adaptor by 31 December 2025. We’ll use in-product messaging to remind customers who need to install the MTD auto-update to ensure the update is complete before migration begins. What’s next Our next phase is to migrate licences, and we’ll be working to a migration timeline: - The first phase of migration will begin around 12 January 2026
- We’ll migrate customers who are registered for the multi-submission module used for group submissions
- The migration will be automatic and carried out in bulk
- Migrations won’t affect existing Sage 200 MTD Adaptor licence details
We won’t migrate all licences, and we’ll cancel some. For further details on the migration and affected modules and licences, refer to the Partner FAQ. New Sage 200 MTD for VAT licences With immediate effect, we’ll create all multi-submission (group submission) Sage MTD for VAT licences through our subscription system.
