Retrieving Automatic Enrolment Payroll Notifications (AEPNs)
Description

It's advised all employers register for auto enrolment with NAERSA via My Future Fund, even if you don’t currently have any eligible employees.

This can be done at myfuturefund.ie.

Each pay period, you need to retrieve an AEPN. This will inform Payroll of any employees to enrol and any employees who have chosen to opt out, opt in or suspend. Payroll will apply the changes for you.

How to receive the AEPN

  1. Select Summary from the menu bar.
  2. Then Process pay run.
  3. Confirm the pay date and select Next.
  4. Tick AEPNs.
  5. Ensure your ROS Digital certificate details appear, then select Continue.
     NOTE: This is the same certificate used for retrieving RPNs. 
  6. Once you can see The latest AEPNs have been retrieved, select Continue.
  7. Details of the RPN and AEPN appear together. Select Next to finish.
