When is the payroll submission deadline?

You need to submit by 6:30 pm on the payment date, or if you processing late, your submission date. You can also submit earlier on the same day or in advance, for holidays or weekly runs.

Can I submit payroll early for holidays?

Yes. As long as you submit before 6:30 pm on payday, you can submit ahead of time.

How does year-end affect submissions?

Auto-enrolment applies from the first payroll paid in 2026, even if part of the pay relates to 2025.

What if an employee has no Personal Public Service Number (PPSN) yet?

Process them as normal in Payroll. NAERSA only assesses once you include a PPSN in the payroll submission.
