| Import bank transactions with Bank Feeds |
Description | You can manually import some bank transactions, if you need to. Do this even if you have a bank feed set up. |
Resolution | Import transactions ▼ Without a Bank feed set up You can set up your bank account for importing without setting up a Bank feed. - Go to the Bank Feeds module.
- Locate the account you want to set up for importing, and click the Get started link.
- Click the Import statement button on the Work with bank transactions window:
 - Follow the import your bank transactions file section below to import the file.
NOTE: To connect your bank account to an automated Bank feed later, click the three dots and select Connect to automatic feed.  ▼ With a Bank feed set up If you already have a Bank feed set up, you can still import your transactions manually if you need to. - Go to the Bank feeds module.
- Open the bank feed for the bank account you want to import to.
- Click Import.
 - Click Continue.
- Follow the import your bank transactions file section below to import the file.
Import your bank statement file After opening the import wizard from your Bank feeds screen: - Click Continue on the Welcome to the Bank feeds import feature window.
- In the Upload your file section of the Import Bank Statement window, click Select a file from your device.
- Browse to the bank statement file, and click Open.
NOTE: We support the following file types: .BAI, .XML, .TXT,.OFX,.ASO,.QBO,.QFX,.QIF, .XLS, .XLSX. - For help with formatting, follow our import file format rules article which includes templates.
NOTE: Sage 50 Account doesn't currently support the additional columns on the templates. - Once you're ready to import your file, click Review transactions.
- If prompted, select the correct date order that the dates are displayed in your file:
 Click the relevant option, then click Continue. - On the Review transactions window, check that your transactions are correct:

TIP: Click Switch transaction types to change money in transactions to be negative. The software changes this over for you and reprocesses the imported file.
- Once you're happy with the transactions, click Confirm import.
The transactions you've imported will now show in the To be matched tab, ready for you to match with your Sage transactions. |
