Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) errors
Description

When you process SSP you may see errors, which stop you from continuing. Let's take a look at how to fix them.

Employee not eligible for SSP

  • Employee employed more than 91 days

Enter or check the employee's start date is correct.

  • Employee employed less than 91 days

The message is correct to appear, as the employee isn't entitled to SSP. This also appears in the Time and Pay screen.


"SSP payment not present"

This error appears when the SSP payment is missing from the timesheet. Follow our guide to Process Statutory Sick Pay.
