To save time before creating your items, consider entering default settings and preferences. These settings include price names, ledger accounts, product weights, and service rates.

Access Products and services settings
After setup, the system automatically enters details when you add a product or service to a transaction.
From Settings, go to Business Settings.
Select Record and Transactions Settings.
Scroll down to Products and services.
NOTE:
We set the decimal places to two, which is the maximum in Sage Accounting.

Choose the default nominal ledger account for services
Sort Order for Product/Service Menus
Sort the order of items displayed by either Description or Item Code
