| How to check if your bank is supported |
Description | Not every bank account can connect to Sage Accounting using the bank feeds service. This guide shows you how to check. NOTE: Foriegn currency bank transactions require you to enter the exchange rate for every transaction. Because of this, foreign currency bank accounts aren't supported.

Resolution | Does my bank support bank feeds? - Go to Banking.
- On the bank account tile you want to connect, go to Actions, then Connect to Bank.
- Type the name of your bank in the search bar.
- If your bank shows in the list, you can connect a bank feed.
NOTE: You can't connect every account type. You can continue the connection to check this.
If you need help with connecting a bank feed, follow the steps on this help guide. > If your bank feed is not supported - Go to Banking.
- On the bank account tile you want to connect, go to Actions, then Connect to Bank.
- Type the name of your bank in the search bar.
- Select Tell us about it.
 - Fill in the information and select Submit.
- The team will attempt to arrange a bank feed connection, but we can't guarantee success.
Alternatives to bank feeds If a bank feed is not available for your bank, you have three alternatives. - Import your bank statement by following the steps on this guide. >
- Use AutoEntry to import your transactions into Sage Accounting. You can find out more here. >
- Manually enter each transaction into the bank.
