Lock and refresh your data to allow you to edit or delete data files, and help with data syncing. 

Lock Remote Data Access

1. Log into Sage 50 Accounts as manager.
2. Log all other users out of Sage 50 Accounts.
3. Go to Tools, then Remote Data Access.
4. Select Lock Remote Data Access.
5. When you've made your changes. select Unlock Remote Data Access.
6. Enter your manager password. 

Refresh Remote Data Access

1. Log into Sage 50 Accounts as manager.
2. Log all other users out of Sage 50 Accounts. 
3. Click Tools, then click Remote Data Access.
4. Click Refresh Remote Data Access.

Your data uploads, and you're asked to log in to Sage 50 Accounts again.

NOTE: In Sage 50 Accounts v27.1 and below, you only see a Lock Remote Data Access option. To refresh, click Lock Remote Data Access, and the option changes to Refresh.
