When trying to install Sage 50 Accounts you may get the following error:

Error 1638

"Another version of this program is already installed".

This error usually appears if you're trying to install the same version of Sage 50 Accounts that is already installed on your computer.

To resolve this you need to remove an installation. For steps on how to do this, please refer to, How do I do a standard uninstall?.

 TIP: If there is no installation to remove, as a workaround you can install Sage 50 Accounts directly from the installation files.
