Within the Working Patterns tab, you can assign one or more working patterns to the employee.

Doing so overrides the default working pattern, which applies to every employee in the payroll automatically.

You can also override the method used to track the hours your employees work.

The default method for the payroll is specified in the Company/Sage Payroll Details window's Holidays tab.
