If there are invalid characters included in the company name, you will see the following error when running the Validate Payroll Data report:

'The Company Name contains characters that will be rejected by Revenue Online Services (ROS)'.

To edit the company name:

1. Log into payroll as the System administrator.
2. On the menu bar, click Company then Company Setup.
3. Select the company you would like to rename and then click Change Company Name.
4. In the Company Name box, type the name of the company.The characters ! $ % ^ _ + are not allowed.
5. Click Modify Company, then click Close.
